Recipe Box Potluck Program July 10

I was thrilled to be asked by Barbara at Projectkin to join her for a program about hosting a recipe-box focused potluck. It’s a topic I wrote about in this recent newsletter I wrote, one that has sparked a lot of interest and discussion.

On Thursday, July 10 from 10:00 to 11:00 PDT I’ll be joining Barbara for a lively discussion of how to approach planning a potluck that’s focused on sharing treasured family recipes. I’ll also provide some insights about how valuable that type of gathering can be for a whole range of reasons. Sharing favorite recipes and the stories associated with them can spark conversations and perspectives about family history and cherished memories in ways that other research might miss.
